As guardians of this historic site, we at Heavener Runestone Park are honored to announce the first wave of events for 2026. These dates are etched in fate—mark your longships' calendars now, for the halls of Valhalla (and our beloved park) await your arrival!
Here are the legendary dates to save:
February 14, 2026 – Valentine's Night Hike: Romance under the stars with a guided nocturnal journey through the ancient paths.
March 1 – March 31, 2026 – 317 Fundraiser: A month-long quest to bring luck and support to the park—small offerings yield mighty rewards!
April 25, 2026 – 5K Thor Fun Run: Channel the thunder god's strength in a spirited run through the trails (more details coming soon—prepare your hammer throws!).
July 4, 2026 – Kids Independence Parade and Fireworks Show: A family celebration of freedom with parades, games, and a sky lit by explosive glory.
September 5, 2026 – Music on the Mountain: Melodies echoing across the peaks—bring your clan for an evening of song and fellowship.
September 25–27, 2026 – Volunteer Camping Weekend: Join fellow stewards in tending the land, sharing stories around the fire, and camping under the stars.
October 24–25, 2026 – Viking Festival: Our grandest saga returns! Expect warriors, merchants, battles, feasts, and the spirit of the Norse unleashed (full raid plans forthcoming).
